Grand Island was chosen as the new home of the Nebraska State Fair based on a number of reasons. Not the least of which include:

• Agricultural trade center
• Demonstrated success through Husker Harvest Days
• Major facilities and structures in place (Fonner Park)

• Exhibition/Multi-Purpose Building
  • 100,000 square foot building
  • 50,000 square foot building

• Livestock Barns
  • 100,000 square foot enclosed building (enclosed)
  • 100,000 square foot open-air building

• Equine Barns
  • Two 75,000 square foot barns

Also featured is the Heartland Events Center, Fonner Park grandstand and concourse, the midway location, ample parking and other amenities to make your day an enjoyable one.
