Welcome!

Welcome to Grand Island, the future home of the Nebraska State Fair.

From August 27 to September 6, 2010, you’ll be able to experience the State Fair in an all new setting at Fonner Park, with unmatched facilities like the Heartland Events Center, brand new livestock and exhibition buildings, plenty of parking and an atmosphere that’s fun for the whole family.

The Nebraska State Fair has been celebrating agriculture and entertaining families for 140 years. The purpose of the Nebraska State Fair is to educate and entertain, recognize individual achievements, celebrate excellences in agriculture, industry, commerce, arts, sciences and technology, and reinforce a sense of community and shared culture for the citizens of Nebraska.

We welcome you to our website. Feel free to browse, and if you have additional questions or input, don’t hesitate to let us know by using the Contact Us link on our web site. If you are interested in volunteering, please visit the giving page for the volunteer form. We’ll be delighted to answer your questions. We welcome your participation in bringing this incredible facility and event to Grand Island, Nebraska.
